Hello there, we are e*space, a group that has been working in different line-ups since 2012, mainly theoretically, on the topic of “emancipatory and collective approaches to sexualised violence”.
The events surrounding Moni’s revenge do not affect us, but above all, they raise issues and questions with which we are also confronted again and again.
Therefore, we want to try to create a space together in which we can deal with the possibilities, obstacles and limits of collective dealings with sexualised violence, which at the same time has room for those affected and tries to develop options for action on a collective level.
We also support this text Against sexualised violence and racism. Always. Anywhere. #ausnahmslos (“noexcuses”):
On the night of New Year’s Eve, numerous women were sexually attacked in public spaces in Cologne and other German cities.. These crimes demand thorough and comprehensive investigations. The prevailing impunity regarding crimes of sexualised violence must end.
We demand that the survivors receive the best possible care and support. We are in solidarity with those who have experienced sexualised violence and harassment.
Just write us a message if you are interested in getting some.
As the URA (Undogmatische Radikale Antifa Dresden – undogmatic radical antifa) already did, we want to call on everyone to support the petition of “Frauen für Frauen e.V. Leipzig” (women for women Leipzig)! We’re asking all of you to contribute to an amendment of the current rape legislation in Germany, so that the “Istanbul Convention” can be implemented and so that people are liable to prosecution for sexual activities to which the others involved didn’t consent.
